Logo is that symbol that makes your company recognizable. It serves as your identity and will be marketed to the public. This is why it is very important to ensure that your logo is worth marketing.

Every good logo should be attractive, unique, relevant ad creative. It should be carefully designed in such a manner so as to showcase what your company is all about.

Your logo is generally the first that people will look at, especially if it contains your company’s name. People will not be interested in your company if your logo design is uninteresting. A bad logo will always have an adverse effect on the status of your company. With a bad logo, all your prospects and customers will perceive that your business is not good as well.

Here are a few mistakes that most people tend to make when designing their company logos:

  • Most company logos have their company names on them. Some companies even have their company taglines placed in their logos, so as to attract more customers. However, many a times, designers tend to commit typography errors that go undetected. In such cases, your logo will be highly criticized and instead of gaining more customers, you will end up gaining more negative publicity.
  • Using clip-art will reflect on your designing skills. It will show that you cannot create anything that is unique.
  • Never create the logo in gray scale. Always make sure that it appears in black and white with colored image effects.
  • Never plagiarize.
  • Never make your logo complicated.
